Street, In Holden Beach NC 28462, as requested in the permittee's application, dated received October 3, 2022.. This
permit issued on October 24, 2022 Is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with
the permit), all applicable regulations and specdal conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may
be subject for the permitteee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause time permit to be null and void.

M The amount of impervious surface shall not exceed 30% of the lot area within 75 feet of
(Estuarine Shoreline Area of Environmental Concern), in this case the total impervious area is existing within
the AEC. 100 square feet of uncovered (no roof) deck is proposed. The amount of impervious surface
areas may be exceeded in a way that runoff water will be managed, and the AEC protected, so as to allow
0 square feet of new impervious area within the 75' Coastal Shoreline AEC.
Unless specifically allowed in 15 NCAC 07H. 0209(d)(10)(F), and shown on the permitted plan drawing, all
developmenticonstruttion shall be located 30 feet landward of normal high-water level. This permit allows
59 square feet of uncovered (no roof) within the 30-toot buffer. An additional 41 square feet of open
(uncovered) deck within the 75-foot AEC.
All unconsolidated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by
effective sedimentation and erosion control measures. Prior to any land -disturbing activitiesi q barrier line
(8) No grading is permitted within the 30' buffer from the normal high water. Any land disturbance must be
contoured to prevent additional stormwater runoff to the adjacent marsh. This area shall be immediately
vegetatively stabilized and must remain In a vegetated state.
(9) All other disturbed areas shall be vegetatively stabilized (planted and mulched) within 14 days of
construction completion.
(10) Areas below the structure which are below the lowest floor shall not be designed or used for human
habitatlon, but shall only be used for parking of vehicles, building access or limited storage of malntalnce
equipment. Flood Vents shall be installed in accordance with FEMA regulations and Holden Beach Town
Ordinance. Access to the enclosed area shall be limited to a (standard exterior door), or entry to the living
area (stairway or elevator). The interior portion of such enclosed area shall not be finished or partMoned
into separate rooms, except to enclose storage areas.
(11)A as built survey is required prior to a final inspection so that it may be verified that the construction meets
all rules and regulations.
(12)No fill material is approved For this site.
(13) Town ordinances states in part that the primary Intent to control stormwater on individual paroels of land, so
as not to adversely affect the quantity and quality of surface water flows as a result of natural rainfall, and to
control runoff onto adjacent property, or water induced soil erosion in any form. Surface water runoff shall
be controlled within property boundaries and not drained onto adjacent areas, both private and public, (for
example, streets and roads)
(14)A building permit will be required prior to beginning of land disturbance or development.
(15) All proposed construction shall be unattached from the non -conforming existing structure.
