Send all suspicious email as an attachment to Report Spam. <mailto:report.spam@nc.gov> Hey Heather, So, we just finalized the drawings for Duck for the solicitation package and in light of anticipated project costs, we actually did not include any dunes in the plans. There is a chance, however, that the costs could come in a bit lower than anticipated and, if so, we may add dunes back to the project at a later date. Should that happen, we are comfortable if the permit is ultimately conditioned to state that dunes must include a minimum slope of 4:1. Thanks again, Brad From: Coats, Heather <heather.coats@ncdenr.gov> Sent: Tuesday, August 3, 2021 2:13 PM To: Brad Rosov <brosov@coastalprotectioneng.com> Subject: Duck project Hi Brad, Thanks to you all for getting the updated sed analysis to us as quickly as you did. I’ll forward Jimmy Harrison’s most recent comments to you shortly. But I also want to forward you WRC’s comments on the Duck project. While most of it is pretty standard and will be covered by similar permit conditions as seen on the KDH permit, we also want to send you Maria’s comments and call your attention to her recommendation for a minimum 4:1 dune slope. Please let me know if this can be incorporated into the project design.
