1) This renewal shall be attached to Permit No. 40-96, which was issued to the permittee on 3/13/09, as
well as all subsequent modifications, refinements, and renewals, and copies of all documents shall be
readily available on site when a Division representative inspects the project for compliance.
2) All conditions and stipulations of the active permit remain in force under this renewal.
NOTE: The N.C. Division of Water Resources has assigned the proposed project DWR Project No.
08-0708.
NOTE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has assigned the proposed project SAW Action Id. No.
2007-03577.
NOTE: A permit renewal application processing fee of $100 was received by DCM for this project.
This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or
other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing
date.
This permit must be accessible on -site to Department
personnel when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modification not covered
hereunder requires further Division approval.
All work must cease when the permit expires on
October 20, 2021

Dear Douglas V. Huggett
I'am writing you to request we renew our CAMA permit number: 40-96, for an additional two
years. Our US Army Corp of Engineers, permit number-198000291, currently expires on December 31,
2021so we Would like to get both permits on the same renewal schedule going forward. The only work
done on the site has been. road and site maintenance so our temporary tenants could access the
bulkhead area. There has been no other work to site, no change in ownership and no change in plans
since permit issuance. Due to an' economic decline being such that we do not think this marina and
condo development is currently a viable project however we do' believe it will be in the future. In the
meantime, we would like to maintain the property to its current condition and'keep our permits -up-to-
date to make sure the property holds its valuel in order for us to properly preserve the land for the
future.
