as well as all subsequent renewals, modifications, amendments, and refinements, and copies of all
documents shall be readily available on site when a Division representative inspects the project for
compliance.
2) All conditions and stipulations of the active permit remain in force under this Renewal.
NOTE: The NC Division of Water Resources assigned the project DWR Project No. 95-1268v2.
NOTE: The US Army Corps of Engineers assigned the project COE Action Id. No. 199602657.
NOTE: A permit renewal application processing fee of $100 was received by DCM for this project.
This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or
other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing
date.
This permit must be accessible on -site to Department
personnel when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modification not covered
hereunder requires further Division approval.
All work must cease when the permit expires on
December 31, 2020
In issuing this permit, the State of North Carolina agrees
that your project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal
Management program.

Bald Head Island, Ltd, (Deep Point Manna) Brunswick County
Mr. Bruce Marek, acting as agent for Bald Head Island Limitett LLC is requesting the renewal of State
Permit No. 91-96. This permit was originally issued on June 3, 1996, and has had several renewals,
minor modifications, and Letters of Refinement since its original issue date. Most recently a renewal was
issued on February 1, 2017 that is due to expire on December 31, 2018. Mr. Marek states that ongoing
dredging and marina maintenance, as well as yet to be constructed projects (hotel and restaurant)
approved under State Permit No. 91-96 will require ongoing renewal requests.
This Office has no objection to the renewal of State Permit No. 91-96. Mr. Marek has submitted a check
(no. 1650) in the fee amount of $100.

This letter is submitted on behalf of Bald Head Island Limited, LLC for renewal of CAMA Permit #91-
96 Deep Point Marina Included is my Check #1650, dated 10-3-18, for the $100 renewal fee. The
current permit expires on December 31.2018.
Deep Point Marina, 1301 Ferry Road, Southport, NC is the home of the mainland side Ferry Terminal
for the Bald Head Island Ferry. It is still an active permit, as we will always have ongoing periodic
dredge projects, marina maintenance, parking lot resurfacing, etc., and we have not yet completed all of
the development that we are permitted for, i.e. the future restaurant and hotel.
