Based on the information provided, I have determined that the activity you propose is exempt from needing a minor development permit as long as it remains consistent with your site drawing dated received by DCM on August 22, 2022, and meets the conditions specified below. If your plans should change and your project will no longer meet these conditions, please contact me before proceeding. Accessory Structure 1. The size of the authorized storage building shall not exceed a footprint greater than 140 square feet. 2. Construction of the accessory/storage building shall not result in any impacts to the frontal dune, including sand or vegetation thereon. 3. The accessory/storage building shall be a free standing structure and shall not be structurally attached to the primary or existing dwelling. 4. No portion of the accessory/storage building may be located within 60' feet from the First Line of Stable Natural Vegetation, nor shall it extend seaward of the toe of the Frontal Dune. This exemption to CAMA permit requirements does not alleviate the necessity of your obtaining any other State, Federal or Local authorization.
