Yvonne Carver, of the Division of Coastal Management field staff, was recently on site to evaluate the permit applicant's request. The permit applicants have requested a permit to construct a 7'x12' platform. Under the Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA), the Coastal Resources Commission (CRC) has established Rules for General Permits for this type of development that are found in 15A NCAC 07H .1200 (copy enclosed). You have notified the Division of Coastal Management of your objections to this proposed development by returning the signed riparian notification form. Your objections to this proposed development relate to egress through the canal.
