Dear Mr. Doxy:

EDEHNFR
Your request to refine the above permit of the Whalehead Club in Currituck County has been
approved and authorizes the placement of riprap fill material within approximately 1,500 square feet
of man-made coastal wetlands. The following conditions apply:
1) All riprap fill material shall be confined landward of normal water level.
2) No fill shall be allowed in the adjacent mitigation pond.
3) The riprap shall be free from loose dirt or any other pollutant. It must be of a size
sufficient to prevent its movement from the site by wave action.
All other requirements established in the original permit issued on December 6, 1996, remain
in effect.
Sincerely, /
Richard Watts
