We have lengthened the pier due to depth of water and Cama regulations, of the proposed project
as attached.
1 Construct a 5' wide x 94' kmg pier with a 12x14' platform on the end
2 Install 1-8K Boat1iR wdh 4 poles
In order for us to obtain the Cama permit for this project, Cama (Coastal Area Management) requires
each adjacent property owner to be notified. We would ask that you sign the attached form and return it to
us as soon as you can You may scan and email, fax or simply mail. We are also attaching a sketch of the
proposed project. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us If you do have any
objections to the proposed work, you may contact Cama at 252-264-3901.

Good afternoon Jackie,
Thank you for the information and yes I should be able to move forward with the permit. I have added this
location to my site visit list for next week and will probably be going out on Wednesday. I will let you know if I have any
additional questions following the site visit. If you would like to go ahead and submit the check for the $200 permit fee
that would be fine.
I do have three remaining questions for you at this time. What are the dimensions of the boat lift being
constructed?12'6" outside to outside of pilings Also can you please specify the length and width of the platform? It is
listed as 12'x14', but is unclear from the drawing if that is 12' water ward or 14' water ward.14' outward water and 2'
towards neighbor I just want to make sure that I draw what you had intended correctly on the permit. Last question is
are you planning on leaving any existing pilings or are they all being removed? We are not leaving any pilings.
