The existing channel is measured to be at least 22 inches at average low tide. Several hurricanes and SW winds have relocated and deposited mud into our boat basin. The current dredging will mirror the permitted dredging that occurred in February 2009. The current estimated amount of dredge spoils for maintenance excavation is approximately 250 cubic yards. Dredge spoils from the project will be deposited on either the following locations: 1. 343 Star Church Rd belonging to JD and Kay Fish \ 2. 359 Star Church Rd belonging to Debbie Piner ' ` P404 Fog it ft i) Please call us if additional information is needed or when the permit is approved to pick up. Fish located at 303 Star Church Road, Marshallberg Township, NC, are requesting permission from adjoining neighbors to deepen their existing boat basin. The boat basin is located on Sleepy Creek in Carteret County. Sherri Mitchell (289 Star Church Rd) and James E. Turner (319 Star Church Rd) are adjoining water front property owners. High and low tides are regulated by tides and NE plus SW winds. When winds blow SW deep water at low tide in the Fish's boa basin can be reduced to a trickle (0 —10 inches) while water depth at low tide with NE winds can bd 5- 12 inches in areas. Dredging o(-- feet of mud is needed to make key areas more useable. The boat basin is approximately 43 ft x 93 ft and leads into Sleepy Creek. Any land work will be limited to 303 Star Church Rd.
