Henry Moore, Jr. Lz� ' f Post Office Box 54 i, c Washington, North Carolina 27889 O C T 2 1 7004 Dear Mr. Moore: Morehead City DCM This letter of refinement is in reference to your 15 October 2004 correspondence requesting a modification of Major CAMA Permit Number 165-96 issued to you on 6 December 1996. The permit was originally issued for maintenance and widening of an existing canal, placement of riprap, construction of a pier, access road, and boat ramp, and the construction of a house onsite your property off SR 1309, at Riverside Park, near the City of Washington, on the Pamlico River, in Beaufort County. The permit has been renewed three times and currently expires on 31 December 2005. Your request is to extend the permitted pier by 37 feet and widen it from 3.5 feet to 6 feet, as well as relocate the structure ±10 feet to the west is hereby authorized. All permit conditions including the 31 December 2005 expiration date still apply and remain unchanged. Thank you for your time and cooperation in this matter.
