File Number RECEIVED JUL 11 2011 Teaches Cove Dry Hydrant Proiect DCM-MHD CITY I am requesting to install a dry hydrant at the Teaches Cove subdivision. I want to go to the lot 27 of Teaches Cove Developers Inc. this lot is located next to 8042 Treasure Dr. Starting approx 15 ft. from the road I will dig down to water level on the Green Creek and continue to dig to creek a ditch approximately two feet wide. It is approximately 220 ft to the creek from this point. I will bury 6 inch pipe for 220 ft at water level. Then when I get to the creek I will reach out and dig a 2 ft deep trench to lay the pipe into get it below the water level. It is very important to have the pipe below the water level. The water must be at the elbow at the road connection. The pump can not pull the water from the river to the road. Once I have the pipe in the water I will change to 8 inch pipe to cut friction lose. I will extend the pipe out into the creek approximately 100 feet to get to water that must be 4 ft deep for the system to work. The screen will be off the bottom 1 ft. and have 2 ft above the screen. I will have slit fence around the project in the creek to keep sediment contained. After the project is complete I will plant grass on the trench to keep this dirt in place. Pile Wxeber Teaches Cove Dry Hydrant Project Moehe " aae ,0,0M I am requesting to install a dry hydrant at the Teaches Cove subdivision.
