1) This renewal shall be attached to Permit No. 79-15; which was issued as amended by CRC Variance
to the permittee on 12/17/15, and copies of both documents shall be readily available on site when a
Division representative inspects the project for compliance.
2) All conditions and stipulations of the active permit remain in force under this renewal.
NOTE: The N.C. Division of Water Resources has assigned the proposed project DWR Project No.
14-0275 V3.
NOTE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has assigned the proposed project SAW Action Id. No.
2015-01116.
NOTE: A permit renewal application processing fee of $100 was received by DCM for this project.
This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or
other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing
date.
This permit must be accessible on -site to Department
personnel when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modification not covered
hereunder requires further Division approval.
All work must cease when the permit expires on
December 31, 2024
In issuing this permit, the State of North Carolina agrees
that your project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal
Management Program.

Morning all,
Please refer to the LINK BELOW for materials associated with a renewal request for an active CAMA permit. It
has been determined that "no substantial development" has occurred on site since the last permit action. Due
to this determination, the active permit cannot be renewed under CRC rule, but the rule does allow for circulation
of the request to resource agencies to provide comment to any changes in circumstances or site conditions,
or changes in your agency's rules or development standards that warrant a new application and CAMA
major permit review.
Therefore, DCM is requesting that your agency review the above materials to determine if site conditions or
circumstances, or agency rules would prohibit DCM from issuing a renewal of the CAMA permit. Please provide
comment within 21 days of receipt of this email to any changes in site conditions or rules that would prohibit
DCM from issuing a permit renewal. If no reply is provided by DECEMBER 30, 2022, then DCM will assume
that your agency intends a NO COMMENT.

Dear Mr. Staples:
Attached you will find a copy of Permit Number 79-15 which expires on December 31, 2022.
Name of project is to develop land on Pantego Creek, off SR 1718, Yeatesville Road, near
Belhaven. Also a check in the amount of $100.0o is enclosed for the renewal fee.
We are requesting an extension of time for two years. No work has been completed during
this previous time period. My intention was to have the project already underway, but Covid
19 changed that. I have loss three (3) three (3) men crews, I am down to two (2) three men
crews. Materials that are needed for the project have been almost impossible to obtain, not to
mention the price increase.
There has been no change of plan since the issuance of the original permit. Nor have there
been any changes in ownership of the property.
The project is in compliance with all conditions of the current permit.
