This correspondence is in reference to your letter of July 22, 1998 requesting the
modification of CAMA Permit #67-96 which authorized the construction of a
DONNA D. MOFFITT bulkhead and pier off Water Street in the Town of Swansboro, Onslow County, North
DIRECTOR Carolina. According to your letter, you wish to modify your permit to allow for the
construction of two floating piers 32' in length X 5' in width instead of the original
4' in width.
Please be advised that CAMA Permit #67-97 is hereby refined to include the above
modifications as long as it is constructed consistent with the letter and workplat that
you submitted to this office. The plat was titled Bulkhead/Pier Dimension Plan - -
Sheet 3 of 3 and dated revised 5/29/98. Please note that the piers shall not extend any
farther out into the White River than was originally permitted. In addition, all
existing conditions associated with the original permit still remain valid. Please attach
a copy of this letter to your permit so that it may be made available to department
personnel when making routine monitoring inspections of the site.
I do appreciate your efforts to comply with the permit requirements of the Division
