This letter is to inform you that we, Frank O. Whitaker, Jr and Claudia H. Whitaker
have applied for a CAMA minor permit on our property at 115 Meadows Lane, Peletier, N.C. As
required by CAMA regulations. We have enclosed a copy of our permit application and project
drawing as notification of our proposed project.
The scope of the project is to construct a vinyl seawall beginning approximately 20 ft. eastward
from a point in our western property line and extending 160 feet in a southeasterly direction.
The location will be flagged by CAMA and will be landward from the back edge of the primary
marsh. The maximum height exposure of the wall will be approximately four feet and will not
extend above the finished existing yard height.
No action is required from you or you may sign and return the enclosed objection form. If you
have comments or questions about our proposed project, please contact us at 336-317-7184,

to construct a vinyl seawall on our property per my understanding during your
site visit. I have personally spoken to each adjoining owner. They understand the
need to protect the shoreline and are in support of the project as presented.
You stated that you will meet with the contractor to flag the project and provide
information that will give instruction as to how to comply with guidelines. The
contractor is Eric Ellis (252-342-6775). He will await your call or text to establish a
time to meet with you on site. I may or may not be there but would like at least a
two-day notice in case I can come.
