September of 1976. While review for modification and transfer will require less than three weeks I must request additional information on the applica- tion prior to initiating that process. Primarily, item V A dealing with intended use must be completed because the modification involves an excavation of some 1400 feet long. Also, item IV C dealing with disposal area needs more attention. Finally, you should indicate as requested on X C, that Mr. Jarvis was notified. L. Parker, I visited the Rattlesnake Canal maintenance project on Thursday, June 2, 1977. After a thorough evaluation of the work involved, it was determined that with minor exception the work had been carried out in accordance with the permit. I have requested that the U. S.
