NOTE.
That no excavated or fill material be placed at any time in any
marsh or waters of the State.
Since the spoil retention area consists of more than one acre,
an erosion and sedimentation control plan will be required for _.
this project. The plan shall include what measures and techniques -
(berms, seeding applications, etc.) will be utilized to control
erosion where spoil material is to be placed. This plan must be
filed at least 30 days prior to beginning any land disturbing
activity. Submit this plan to the Department of Natural Resources
and Community Development, Land Quality Section, 1502 North Market
Street, Washington, N. C. 27889.

Subject Req. for Modification #96-78 r-Roland Dale
Attached is subject modification request. As you will note, we received it
on August 3, 1978 - unsigned and undated.
From a review of the plat and application, it appears that Mr. Dale intends
to reorient the proposed boat basin and move it some 500' closer to the mouth
of the canal. Since all work is to be done on high land, I can see little
problem with the project as proposed. I recommend that we modify the per-
mit by minor modification process - no circulation.
