Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application and permit conditions. Any violation of these terms may
subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for
compliance. The applicant certifies by signing this permit that: 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this
permit, the applicant will confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the
local land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement from the adjacent riparian property owner(s)
has been obtained, or proof of delivery of certified mail notification of the adjacent riparian property owner(s).
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.
River Basin Rules Applicable To Your Project:

Hey Rick take a look at these approximate riparian lines. Apparently those "L lines" were never to be used as a
recorded riparian line. The only recorded line to be used on these surveys is the established pierhead line. The
"L Lines" are just distance measurements from the bulkhead to the established pierhead line. In most cases on
Riverside, the L Lines would be exactly how DCM would draw the riparian line but in this case where we have a
bend in the channel, the L Lines are not an accurate representation of the riparian corridors. Tara and I have
redrawn the approximate riparian lines in the corner to give lot 28 a more fair corridor and also to make 602's
dock conforming. Again, these new line are approximate and are not a surveyed line but it gives you a better
idea of how DCM would draw the corridor lines in the corner.
