This letter of refinement is in reference to your 8 February 1993 request to
modify Major CAMA and Dredge and Fill Permit Number 85-83 issued to you on 15 June
1983. Permit No. 85-B3 was issued for the widening and deepening of your entrance
canal, excavation of mooring basins and installation of a marine railway onsite your
property off of Hwy 264 near the Rose Bay Community on Rose Bay Creek in Hyde County.
Your request to modify the aforementioned permit to allow a minor realignment of
the permitted basin with boat ramp within the same dimensions as already permitted is
hereby authorized. All permit conditions including the 15 April 1993 expiration date
still apply and remain unchanged. Your modified plat illustrating the authorized
change will become a part of your permit and construction should be accomplished
accordingly.

Per conversation with David Gossett, on 2.8-93 and in compliance with his recommendation, I am
writing to notify your office of a slight refinement request in this project. As you see on the two
enclosed plats (1-original & 2-refined), the only proposed difference will be a slight angle change
conserving the position of one of the mooring basins.
