Dear Mr. Gossett
Per the telephone conversation on Friday, April 2, 1993 1 am writing this letter to request an
extension from the State of North Carolina Department of Natural Resources and Community
Development on permit number 85-83. The only change to this project is the slight angle
change of one of the mooring basins. This refinement was granted after the request was made in
writing with details to Mr. Terry Moore on February 8, 1993.
As indicated on the enclosed plats, we have completed a large portion of the remaining project
by excavating the two proposed mooring basins. However, equipment failure and torrential
rains, not to mention the severe storm in mid March kept us from completing the entire
project
I am enclosing:
1. a copy of the 85-83 permit,
2. 2 DIMS. sheets 1 and 2 of 2 on which I have indicated the
areas completed and those remaining to be completed,
3. a check for $50.00 to cover the permit renewal fee.
I would like to thank you and the state of North Carolina for your patience with me on this
project. If you need to contact me for any reason please call at 919-926-9961.
Sincerely,
John Mark Dodge --Dodge Railway
