Original Construction from early 2000's, per Bald Head Island Limited CAMA Permit 151-84, as Bald Head Creek Dock #24, Boat Slip Position #60). Total length of wood 6' wide pier/walkway is appx 6001f as follows: 3341f of pier/walkway from the houses to the junction of the "y"; 2561f as indicated in yellow out to the 10'x10' pier ending plus the 10'xl0' pier ending/deck platform. As per our discussion, this GP will allow entire replacement although the main intent of repair/replacement is for the 2561f indicated in yellow plus the 10'x10' pier end deck platform. Request includes replacing all piles, structural frame and deck boards within the existing footprint. Bald Head Creek Dock #24 Slip Position#60 GP1200 Repair/Replace Pier/Walkway 11-8-22 Construction of the structural frame to be ptsyp lumber; hot dip galvanized bolts/ all thread rod, nots and washers; hdg grabber screws; stainless steel deck screws; and cca 2.0 ptsyp piles. Showing appx 334 if of pier/walkway in the "y". Keepers Landing, Cape Fear Station, Bald Head Island pier is to the left/west. Island Contracting will be doing the construction. Adjacent property owner notifictions/waiver forms were certified mail sent to the left/west adjacent Keepers Landing/Bald Head Association, the right/east adjacent Island Refuge, LLC, and the surrounding State Property office on 10-22-22.
