Reference your proposed construction of four piers within
an existing basin off Chocowinity Bay at your campground near
Chocovinity, Beaufort County, North Carolina. By letter of
July 22, 1986, after issuance of North Carolina Department of
Natural Resources and Community Development permit No. 130-86,
we informed you that the work was consistent with our general
permit No. SAWC080-N-000-0291. Reference also your recent
request to modify the permit to change the location of three
of the permitted piers and to include construction of a bridge
across the existing access canal.

modified on October 8, 1987. Accordingly, we consider the
proposed modification to be consistent with, and authorized by,
the aforementioned general permit. It is understood that all
conditions of the original permit remain applicable.
