This permit, issued on May 25, 1993 , is subject to compliance with the application (where consistent
with the permit), all applicable regulations, special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may be
subject to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; or may cause the permit to be null and void.
1) In order to protect juvenile fish resources, no excavation may take place under this renewal from
February 1 to June 30 of any year without prior approval of the Division of Coastal Management
in consultation with the Division of Marine Fisheries.
2) This renewal must be attached to the original of permit No. 132-87 and be readily available on
site when Division personnel inspect the project for compliance. All conditions and stipulations
of the original permit apply to the project under this renewal.
MAINTENANCE CLAUSE
The Division of Coastal Management will be notified in writing at least two (2) weeks in advance of
any maintenance work (after Dec. 31, 1993) authorized by this permit and that notification include:

This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or
other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the
issuing date. An appeal requires resolution prior to work
initiation or continuance, as the case may be.
This permit must be accessible on -site to Department
personnel when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modification not
covered hereunder requires further Departmental approval.
All work must cease when the permit expires on
December 31, 1997
In issuing this permit, the State of North Carolina agrees
that your project is consistent with the North Carolina
Coastal Management Program.
