I'^ edit +-AUN 01 1990 for L6"U U X Major Development in an Area of Environmental Concerti! -'------------- --------- pursuant to NCGS 113A-118 Excavation and/or filling pursuant to NCGS 113-229 Issued development in Beaufort Countyat the Pamlico Ri vi n as requested in the permittee's This permit, issued on May 24, 1990 , is subject to compliance with the application (where consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations, special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may be subject to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; or may cause the permit to be null and void. (1) This permit modification authorizes the use of polyethylene carrier and encasement pipe in place of ductile iron required in Condition No. 2 of the original of permit No. 229-89 issued on 12/11/89. (2) This modification must be attached to the original of permit No. 229-89 and be readily available on site when Division personnel inspect the project for compliance. (3) All conditions of the original permit remain in force unless altered by this modification or the refinement letter of 1/3/90. This permit action may be appealed by the pemtittee or other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. An appeal requires resolution prior to work initiation or continuance, as the case may be. This permit must be accessible on -site to Department personnel when the project is inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project modification not covered hereunder requires further Departmental approval. All work must cease when the permit expires on December 31, 1992 In issuing this permit, the State of North Carolina agrees that your project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.
