CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE
1. OBTAIN GRADING PERMIT. (IF REQUIRED)
2. INSTALL SILT FENCING, CLEAR ONLY AS REQUIRED
TO ACCESS THE WORK AREA.
3. CALL 946-6481
FOR ON —SITE INSPECTION BY CONSERVATION INSPECTOR.
4. MAINTAIN DEVICES AS NEEDED. GRADE SITE AND PLACE
FINAL COVER EACH WORK DAY IN THE FILL AREA.
5. INSTALL RIP RAP BULKHEAD
6. STABILIZE SITE AS AREAS ARE BROUGHT UP TO FINISH GRADE WITH VEGETATION,
RIP RAP
7. WHEN CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE AND ALL AREAS ARE STABILIZED COMPLETELY,
CALL FOR INSPECTION BY CONSERVATION INSPECTOR.
8. IF SITE IS APPROVED, REMOVE TEMPORARY DIVERSIONS, SILT FENCING, SEDIMENT
BASINS, ETC., AND SEED OUT OR STABILIZE ANY RESULTING BARE AREAS.
9. WHEN VEGETATION HAS BECOME ESTABLISHED, CALL FOR FINAL SITE INSPECTION
BY CONSERVATION INSPECTOR.
SEEDBED PREPARATION
REMOVE AFL BL
LOOSE ROCK, ROOTS, AND OTHER OBSTRUCTIONS LEAVING
SURFACE REASONAY SMOOTH AND UNIFORM.
2. APPLY AGRICULTURAL LIME, FERTILIZER, AND SUPERPHOSPHATE UNIFORMLY
AND MIX WITH SOIL (SEE BELOW*).
3. CONTINUE TILLAGE UNTIL A WELL -PULVERIZED, FIRM, REASONABLY UNIFORM
SEEDBED IS PREPARED 4 TO 6 INCHES DEEP.
4. SEED ON A FRESHLY PREPARED SEEDBED AND COVER SEED LIGHTLY WITH
SEEDING EQUIPMENT OR CULTIPACK AFTER SEEDING.
5. MULCH 'MMEDIATELY AFTER SEEDING AND ANCHOR MULCH.
6. INSPECT ALL SEEDED AREAS AND MAKE NECESSARY REPAIRS OR RESEEDINGS
WITHIN THE PLANTING SEASON, IF POSSIBLE. IF STAND SHOULD BE OVER
60 PERCENT DAMAGED, REESTABLISH FOLLOWING ORIGINAL LIME, FERTILIZER
AND SEEDING RATES.
7. CONSULT CONSERVATION INSPECTOR ON MAINTENANCE TREATMENT AND
FERTILIZATION AFTER PERMANENT COVER IS ESTABLISHED.
