at Pamlico Sound (at Ocracoke near Gap Point) as requested :n your application
dated 10/29/73 & attached plats dated 10/29/73 subject to the conditions set forth below.
(1) That no spoil be placed below MHW or on any marsh.
(2) That the diked disposal areas have an adequate apillway. In addition, the
disposal area effluent must be contained by pipe, trough, or similar device
to a point at or below the MLW line of Pamlico Sound.
(3) That all spoil be adequately contained by dikes or bulkheads. A
(4) That erosion be controlled on all spoil and disturbed areas. W
(5) Bulkheading of the channelized areas is recommended to reduce future
manitenance. W

NOTE: The soil in this area may not be suitable for septic tank systems. A
permit from the local health department is required.

issuing ofr':ce. If the applicant does not submit an objection, this will be interpreted as an agreement of
compliance with all permit conditions.
This permit must be displayed along with a copy of the application and the project map in the
cab for pilot -house) of the vehicle working on the project, or be easily accessibie on site to Department
personnel when the project is inspected.
Notify: Permit Section, Di;sion of Marme Fisheries, Box 27687, Raleigh, North Carolina,

Any maintenance work or additional work on the project subsequent to the termination of
this permit requlras permit renewal and./or modification.
