(3) That the work be conducted in such a manner as to prevent significa
increases in turbidity outside of the area of construction (increases
of 25 JTU's or less are not considered significant).
NOTE: A Section 401 Water Quality Certification is required for this project
and is being processed.

NOTE: Since more than one acre of land will be disturbed, this project will
require an erosion and sedimentation control plan. The plan must be
filed at least thirty (30) days prior to beginning any land -disturbing
activity with the Department of Natural Resources and Community Develop-
ment, Land Quality Section, 1502 North Market Street, Washington, NC 27889.
NOTE: A State NPDES discharge permit is required prior to the discharge of
processed wastewater. Contact: Engineerinq and Permit Branch, Water
Quality Section, Division of Environmental Management, P. O. Box 27087,
