as requested in the permittee'sapplication dated 10/14/82 including
attached plat dated 1/14/86.
This permit, issued on /' � , - , is subject to compliance with the application (where consistent
with the permit), all applicable regulations, special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject
permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; or may cause the permit to be null and void.
(1) The bulkhead will be positioned on an alignment an average of 3 feet waterward
of the normal water level (NWL) elevation contour. At no point along its
alignment will it be positioned further than 8 feet waterward of the NWL
elevation contour.
(2) All fill material to be placed below normal water level will be confined
behind the permitted bulkhead.
NOTE: The work authorized by this permit is certified under Section 401 General
Water Quality Certifications No. 1272 for bulkhead construction and No.
1431 for boat ramps.
NOTE: A copy of this permit is being forwarded to the Department of Administration,
State Property Office, from which you must receive a letter of authorization
prior to proceeding with your project.
This permit action may be appealed by the permittee
or other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the
issuing date. An appeal requires resolution prior to work
initiation or continuance, as the case may be.
This permit must be accessible on -site to Department
personnel when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modification
not covered hereunder requires further Departmental
approval.
All work must cease when the permit expires on
December 31. 1986
In issuing this permit, the State of North Carolina
agrees that your project is consistent with the North
Carolina Coastal Management Program.
