Project summary The applicant is proposing to place a subaqueous cable T.V. line across Broad Creek upstream of the Washington Yacht and Country Club. L Environmental setting The applicant is proposing to place a subaqueous T.V. cable across Broad Creek + 800' upstream of the Washington Yacht and Country Club. The creek is + 558' wide at the crossing location. The cable will be placed beside a Tideland Electric Cable which is already in place. The cable crosses from the Duncan Moore property to the Boy Scouts of America property. 'No wetland vegetation is present at the crossing site. Project proposal The applicant is proposing to place a 750 V/W subaqueous T.V. cable across Broad Creek. The cable will be placed 1.5' below the creek bottom and a high-pressure jet will be used to "wash" the cable down. No other excavation and/or filling activities will occur. Environmental impact The project as proposed should have a minimal environmental impact. No wetland vegetation will be excavated or filled. Some short term turbidity may exist during project activity. David L.
