Part of their proposal is to replace the existing wooden bulkhead that has started to fail with vinyl in areas that are void of coastal wetlands waterward of the existing wall. The plan is to drive vinyl sheets immediately waterward of the existing wooden wall to prevent leakage into the waterway. I just now caught that the USACE setback appears to run close to even with the existing waterward edge of the northern peninsula.
