Renewal of Major CAMA 79-15
Mr. Toby Tetterton of T. J. Land Development LLC is requesting to renew Major CAMA
permit no. 79-15. The aforementioned permit was issued on 4 August 2015 and amended
by CRC variance on 17 December 2015. The permit authorized a 66 slip marina and
associated campground on Mr. Tetterton's property located off SR 1718 adjacent Pungo
Creek near Belhaven in Beaufort County, North Carolina. The CRC variance authorized Mr.
Tetterton to construct an 8' wide pier over Coastal Wetlands marsh. This is the first renewal
request for this permit. Mr. Tetterton has not undertaken any of the authorized activities
under this permit.
Per NCAC 7J.0404(b) staff recommends that the aforementioned permit be renewed
as this is the first renewal request for this permit. Mr. Tetterton states that his marine
contracting business has been busy with Hurricane Florence recovery work and has been
unable to undertake any of the authorized activities. If you have any questions concerning
this renewal request, please do not hesitate to call (252) 948-3854.

RE: Renewal Permit Number 79-15
Dear Mr. Trowell:
Attached you will find a copy of Permit Number 79-15. Also a check in the amount of
$100.00.
We are requesting a extension of time for two years. No work has been completed during
this time. The reason the project has been delayed is due to the fact of Hurricane Florence
and the impact it did to this area.
There has been no change of plan since the issuance of the original permit. Nor have there
been any changes in ownership of the property.
The project is in compliance with all conditions of the current permit.
Sincerely,
TJ's LAND DEVELOPMENT LLC
