Dear Mr. Orr: PAT MCCRORY Governor IS6A/:11a :&%W\111l]0:#%V3YII Secretary BRAXTON DAVIS Director This letter of refinement is in reference to the March 15, 2016 request by Mr. Alan Bailey, for a refinement of Major CAMA Permit No. 128-15 issued to you on November 13, 2015. The request is to angle a 6' x 40 section (the most waterward portion terminating at the platform) to the north in order to minimize impacts to coastal wetlands and oyster rock. All other permitted portions would remain in the previously permitted footprint. This development is hereby authorized as requested. All permit conditions including the December 31, 2018 expiration date still apply and remain unchanged as well as the following specific conditions: • The 6' x 40' angled section of pier shall be placed as shown on drawing dated 3/15/16. VAN DER VAART Secretary BRAXTON DAVIS Director March 16, 2016 Please find enclosed a request from Mr. Alan bailey dated received by DCM on March 15, 2016 to refine the existing CAMA permit. This permit, #128-15, was issued on 11/13/15 and is set to expire on 12/31/18. The permit authorized a pier and platform. The applicant is proposing to angle a 6' x 40 section (the most waterward portion terminating at the platform) to the north in order to minimize impacts to coastal wetlands and oyster rock. If the proposed development is constructed as shown on the drawing dated received 3/15/16, then the proposal is consistent with the specific guidelines found in 15A NCAC 07H.0208.
