Holden Beach NC, as requested in the permittee's application, dated received August 25, 2022.. This permit issued on
September 7, 2022 is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), all
applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject
pernittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.
This permit authorizes: RELOCATE THE EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE ON THE LOT, INSTALL GRAVEL
DRIVEWAY AND UNDERGROUND STORMWATER RETENTION DITCHES. NO FILL MATERIAL IS PERMITTED
FOR THIS LOT.
(1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat
drawings(s) dated received August 25, 2022. Signed by professional engineer Edward Brunner on 8123/2022.
(2) All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other local, State and Federal regulations,
applicable local ordinances and FEMA Flood Regulations.
(3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-evaluation and
modification of this permit.
(4) A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site. Contact this office at 910-842.6080 for a final inspection at
completion of work.

This permit action may be appealed by the pemiittee or other qualified persons
within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. TM permit must be on the project
site and accessible to the perrrt officer when the project is inspected for
compliance. Any maintenance work or project modficatlon not covered under
this penrit, require further written permit approval. M work must cease when this
permit expires on:

In issung this permit it is agreed that this project is consistent with the kcal Land
Use Plan and all applicable ordinances. This permit may not be transferred to
another party without the written approval of the Division of Coastal
Management.

(5) The amount of impervious surface shall not exceed 30% of the lot area within 75 feet of mean high water. In this
case there will be 1,416 square feet within the 75 foot (Estuarine Shoreline Area of Environmental Concern).
(6) Unless specifically allowed in 15A NCAC 07H. 0209(d)(10) and shown on the permitted plan drawing, all
developmenUconstruction including the overhangs shall be located a distance of 30 feet landward of normal high
water. This permit is being issued based on section A NCAC 07H.0209(d)(10)(F) that reads as follows:
Decks✓observation decks limited to slatted, wooden elevated and unroofed decks that shall not singularly or
collectively exceed 200 square feet.
(7) All unconsolidated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by
effective sedimentation and erosion control measures. Prior to any land -disturbing activities, a barrier tine of
fifter cloth must be installed between the land disturbing activity and the adjacent bulkhead, marsh,
coastal wetlands or 404 wetlands, or water areas until such time as the area has been properly
stabilized with a vegetative cover.
(8) All other disturbed areas shall be vegetatively stabilized (planted and mulched) within 14 days of construction
completion.
(9) Be advised that an as built final survey will be required prior to final inspection with all impervious calculations
and overhang locations shown.
(10) Fill material has not been approved for this property. The concrete slab is approved at an elevation of 5.8'.
(11)The (2)10' x 20' parking spaces shall remain accessible for the life of the structure.
(12)The underground stormwater retention shall not be located within the 30-fool buffer area and shall be inspected
prior to being covered up by the engineer that will provide the letter of compliance.
(13)There shall not be any impervious fabric / product placed unfit the gravel in the driveway that will not allow water
to infiltrate through.
(14)No structure including the HVAC unit or the overhangs shall not be located within the 5 foot setback, the 20 foot
rear yard setback or the 25 foot front yard setback. All setbacks are measured from the platted property line.
(16) The primary intent of these regulations in chapter 158.09 in part, is to satisfactorily control slonnwater on
individual parcels of land, and to control runoff onto adjacent property, or water induces soil erosion in any form.
