We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your inquiry concerning the
necessity of filing an application :nor a minor development permit under the Coastal Area
Management Act. The activity you propose is exempt from needing a minor development permit
as Jong as it meets the conditions specified below. If your plans should change and your project
will no longer meet those conditions please contact me before proceeding.
DESCREMON OF ACTIVITY AND CONDITIONS: REiPAIRJMAINTENANCE OF CONCRETE
BULKEEEAD
1) NO new/live concrete can enter the surface waters.
2) New concrete shell can only be poured at LOW TIDE_
3) New concrete shell shall use a quick drying or drying additive.
4) Back fill can be rock, soil, c:-ushed cement or other inert materials.
5) Concrete can not be poured beneath low tide.
6) See the attached repair diagram for concrete bulkheads.
This letter of exemption is valid for a period of 90 days only and authorizes the reoair of the
concrete bulkhead onW A new application will need to be submitted if repairs are not
