The activity you propose is exempt from needing a minor development permit as long as it meets the conditions specified below. If your plans should change and your project will no longer meet those conditions please contact me before proceeding. OF ACTIVITY AND CONDITIONS: REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF CONCRETE 1) NO new/live concrete can enter the surface waters. 2) New concrete shell can only be poured at LOW TIDE. 3) New concrete shell shall use a quick drying or daiine additive. 4) Back fill can be rock, soil, crushed cement or other inert materials. 5) Concrete can not be poured beneath low tide. 6) See the attached repair diagram for concrete bulkheads. This letter of exemption is valid for a period of 90 days only and authorizes the repair of the concrete bulkhead only! A new application will need to be submitted if repairs are not commenced within that time.
