ALL CONSTRUCTION MUST CONFORM TO THE NC BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS AND ALL OTHER LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS. 2. ANY CHANGE OR CHANGES IN THE PLANS FOR DEVELOPMENT, CONSTRUCTION, OR LAND USE ACTIVITIES WILL REQUIRE A RE-EVALUATION AND MODIFICATION OF THIS PERMIT. 3. THE AMOUNT OF IMPERVIOUS SURFACE AREAS SHALL NOT EXCEED 25% OF THE LOT AREA WITHIN THE AREA OF ENVIROMENTAL CONCERN. 4. IN ORDER TO PREVENT SEDIMENTATION, A VEGETATED BUFFER ZONE MUST BE MAINTAINED BETWEEN ALL DISTURBED AREAS AND THE ADJACENT WATERBODY OR MARSH. 5. PRIOR TO INITIATING ANY LAND -DISTURBING ACTIVITY A BARRIER LINE OP FILTER CLOTH MIST BE INSTALLED BETWEEN TIM LAND -DISTURBING ACTIVITY AND THE ADJACENT MARSH OR WATER AREAS, UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE AREA HAS BEEN PROPERLY STABILIZED WTTH.A VEGETATED COVER. 6. PURSUANT TO 15 NCAC, SUBCHAPTER 7J.0406 (B), THIS PERMIT MAY NOT BE J ASSIGNED, TRANSFERRED, SOLD OR OTHERWISE DISPOSED OF TO A THIRD -PARTY. This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per- mit m.st cease until the appeal is resolved. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered under this permit requires further written permit approval. All work must cease when this permit expires on December 31, 2004 In issuing this permit it is agreed that this project is consistent with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances. Sincerely, Bruce Biggins Ma Bruce Riggins Landscape Plans ■ Please see attached overhead property survey. • Please see attached project drawing, including cross -sectional drawings at beginning of border, along slope, and at bulkhead. ■ Project is a landscape boundary on Riggins property along the border between Riggins and Coward properties. ■ Landscape boundary is constructed of non -impervious, non -mortared, loose -fitted concrete landscape block. ■ These blocks are hollow, and there is drainage through block spacing. ■ Grass will be on both sides of boundary, along entire boundary. ■ Length of landscape boundary will be approximately 150 feet. ■ Approximate height of landscape boundary will vary from one block possibly up to 10 blocks, depending on slope differences. ■ The majority of boundary length will be between 1 and 5 blocks in height. ■ Block dimensions are: height - 8 inches width - 16 inches On 10/23/01, CAMA officer Jerry Parker visited the project site. On 10/26/01, after reviewing regulations, he gave verbal approval for the project and gave instructions to make a formal minor permit application. On 1/22/02, I met with Jerry Parker at the CAMA office in Wilmington to discuss moving forward with the minor permit. He reviewed the application and again verbally approved the project.
