7. Town Ordinance 157.027: On lots containing marsh or wetlands the piles supporting the
shueture shall not be located closer than seven (7) feet form an existing bulkhead, the COE line , or
CAMA line, whichever is closer.
S. Town Ordinance 157.027: Fill material placed landward of the marsh line is not allowed to slip
or wasb into the marsh.
9. No fill material is to be placed in federal or coastal wetlands- Temporary storage of materials or
mil in wetlands is strictly prohibited.

place within two (2) years of the time the structure becomes imminently threatened, so that the
structure in no longer imminently threatened, then it need not be relocated or dismantled at that time.
This condition shall not affect the permit holder's right to seek authorization of temporary protective
measures allowed by CRC Rules.

18. The space below the lowest floor that is located in V Zones must either be free of obstruction or
constructed with non -supporting breakaway materials. Preferred construction materials are open
wood latticework or insect screening. However, solid breakaway wall panels are allowed.
Any construction below the lowest floor should collapse under wind and water loads without
causing collapse, displacement, or other structural damage to the elevated portion of the
building or the supporting foundation system. If non -supporting breakaway walls are used,
they are to have a design safe -loading resistance of not less than ten nor more than twenty
pounds per square foot If breakaway wags exol the twenty -pound criteria, they must be
designed or certified by a registered professional engineer or architect, using the V-Zone
Certification forth.
19. Pursuant to 15 A NCAC 07J.0406(b), this permit may not be assigned, transferred,
sold, or otherwise disposed of to a third party by the applicant, agent, or any entity
other than the NC the NC Division of Coastal Management.

VIOLATION OF FEMA AND THE TOWN OF HOLDEN BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES
AND SHALL BE REPORTED TO THE NECESSARY AGENCYS.

of the special risks and conditions associated with
development in this area, which is subject to natural
hazards such asstotms., erosion and currents-Therulesof
the Coastal Resources Commission require that you
receive an AEC Hazard Notice and acknowledge that
