Bradley Permit # 70-15 Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS 2) • In order to protect spawning fish, no in -water work shall be permitted between February 15 and June 30 of any year without prior approval from the Division of Coastal Management. 3) As required by N.C.G.S. 121 Article 3, prior to the commencement of any log salvage operations, the permittee shall apply for and receive an underwater archaeology permit from the N.C. Department of Cultural Resources. 4) No logs, timbers, trees or other debris shall be removed, repositioned, or stored in a manner that the Division of Coastal Management determines would represent a navigational safety hazard. Materials not intended to be taken to a shore support site shall be repositioned (unburied) as close to its original position as possible. 5) No attempt will be made by the permittee to prevent the full and free use by the public of all navigable waters at or adjacent to the authorized work. . 6) This permit does not authorize the removal or salvage of any object or material other than submerged logs. 7) The permittee shall maintain a comprehensive listing of the number of logs removed, sizes of such logs and general location of where the logs were recovered. Copies of this report shall be submitted to the Division of Coastal Management by March I' of each year that this permit is active. Failure to provide this report by the March 1" deadline may result in a violation of this permit. 8) No vegetated wetlands or open water areas shall be excavated or filled, even temporarily. 9) The permittee and/or his contractor shall meet with a representative of the Division prior to project initiation in order to discuss the conditions set forth in this permit. NOTE: This permit does not eliminate the need to obtain any additional state, federal or local permits, approvals or authorizations that may be required. NOTE: Future development of the permittee's property may require a modification of this permit. Contact a representative of the Division at (252) 364-3901 prior to the commencement of any such activity for this determination. The permittee is further advised that many non -water dependent activities are not authorized within 30 feet of the normal water level. We pulled 3 logs, around 16 foot long and about 15 inch diameter. They were pines. We stopped pulling logs until we can find a buyer. Just got an underwater camera also. Both logs around 16' long and around 18-20" in diameter. The pine was a raft log and was notched where it was connected. We have pictures of both but they are on a tablet which is having a hard time charging at this moment. As soon as I am able to get the pictures I will send them. Sorry we have been so distant and not as updated as much, we had an accident in the past year where David (my dad) had fallen off of a roof and broke both of his legs. He has made a full recovery & we are expected to start logging again as soon as we can.
