PERMIT
as authorized by the State of North Carolina, Department of Environment,
and Natural Resources and the Coastal Resources Commission for development
in an area of environment concern pursuant to Section 113A-118 of the
General Statues, "Coastal Area Management'
Issued to Lowell & Shirlev Spivev, authorizing development in Estuarine Shoreline AEC at 75 Wilmington
Street as requested in the permittee's application, dated July IL 2000 . This permit, issued on December 31,
2003, 2003, is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), all
applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject
permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.
This permit authorizes a 10' z 32' addition to the existing house, as shown on the revised site plan.
MINOR PERMIT CONDITIONS FOR ESTUARINE SHORELINE AEC'S
(1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat
drawings(s) dated received July 11, 2000
(2) All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other local, State and Federal
regulations, applicable local ordinances and FENIA Flood Regulations.
(3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-
evaluation and modification of this permit.
(4) All unconsolidated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by
effective sedimentation and erosion control measures.
(5) All disturbed areas shall be vegetatively planted and mulched within 30 days of construction completion.
(6) No PORTION of house or covered decks/porches shall encroach into the thirty-foot buffer area from the mean
high water mark.
(7) Before the final inspection, the designing stormwater engineer must certify that the stormwater system was
installed and inspected as per the designing engineers specifications
(8) Pursuant to 15 NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406(b), this permit may n assigned, transferred, or otherwise
disposed of to a third party. D . � L

This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other qualified
persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. From the dale of Local Permit Official (signature)
appeal, any work conducted under this permit must cease until the ap al
