This letter of refinement is in reference to the March 19, 2020 correspondence from Bobby Cahoon
,Construction on behalf_of your client, Ocean Club Master Association, Inc. (Ocean Club), requesting a
modification of Major CAMA Permit No. 127-16 (the Permit) issued to Ocean Club Master Association, Inc.
on December 12, 2016 and modified on March 20, 2017. Permit No. 127-16 authorizes construction of a
bulkhead forshoreline stabilization and was modified on March 20, 2017 for an offshore sill. This development
was authorized on Ocean Club's property located 1700 Salter Path Road, in Bogue Sound in Indian Beach,
Carteret County, North Carolina.
Your request to remove the existing floating 7' by 30' pier access walkway and 13' by 10' platform and replace
with a fixed pier access walkway and platform within the same footprint as shown on drawings submitted with
the March 19, 2020 correspondence is hereby authorized. All work must take place within the existing
footprint of the structures to be replaced. There are no boat slips, enlargements, expansions, or structural
footprint changes or reconfigurations authorized by this Letter of Refinement. All permit conditions including
the December 31, 2020 expiration date still apply and remain unchanged. Please append this letter to the
permit file to document authorization to proceed with the proposal.

Mr. Connell,
Please see the enclosed drawing for proposed changes to the Community Pier at The Ocean
Club. We are planning to remove the existing floating dock and gangway at the end of the main
walkway and install a fixed pier as shown on the drawing, in the same footprint.
Can Permit #127-16 be modified for these changes?
