North Carolina Administrative Code, I`itle l 5A. Department of Environment, Health and Natural Resources, Section 15A NCAC 071I .0308 (a) 4 states `'Beach Bulldozing is development and may be permitted as an erosion iapcanse ifthe following conditions are met." (A) The area on which this activity is being,performcd must maintain a slope of adequate grade so as to not endanger the public br the public's use rihthe beach andshall Ibllow the pie emergency slope as closely as possible. No bulldozing is allowed during turtle nesting season (May 1 —Nov. 15) unless permitted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission.
