I have reviewed the information submitted to this ol'lice in your inquii concerning the necessary
filing of an application for a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. I have
determined that the act i v i o you propose, :is exempt front needing it minor development permit as long as it
remains consistent kith sour site drawing dated 05-27-05, and it also meets the conditions specified below.
If your plans should chanec,and your project will no longer meet these conditions, please contact me before
proceeding.

1. The access ot eccecd 6 feet in «idth and Most be for private residential or for

2. The access >ca) must he constructed so as to mule no alterations to the frontal dunes that are
not necessary to construct the access way. This means that where ever possible the access
way must be constructedover the frontaldune without any alteration of the dunes. In no case
shall the dune be altered sous to signil scantly diminish its capacity as a protective barrier
against flooding and erosion. Driving the filings into the dunes shall not be considered
alteration of the dune for the purposes of thisrule.
3. The access way shall conform to any applicable local or state building code standards.
This exemption to CAMA permit requirements does not alleviate the necessity of your obtaining
any other State, Federal or Local authorization. This exemption expires 60 days from the date of this letter.
