This permil action may be appealed by the pemittee or other quallfied peBons
within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. This permit musl be on the project
site and accessible to lhe permit officer when the project is inspecled for
compliance. Any maintenance work or proiecl modification nol covered under
lhis permit, require further writen permil approval. All work musl cease when this
pemit expires on:

d The Town of Emerald lsle, authonzing development in the Ocean Hazard (AEC) at Randy's Way Beach Access adjacent to
tlantic ocean in Emerald lsle, as requested in the permittee's application, daled 1Ot26l2O. This permit, issued on 11/10i20, is
subject to compliance with the application and sile drawing (where consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and special
conditions and notes set forth below, Any violation of these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil aclion, or
may cause the permit to be null and void.
This permit authorizes: C0nstruction of 20')Q0' Beach Access Deck.
(1) All proposed devslopment and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted rvork plat drawings
received 11/6/20.
(2) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-evaluation and
modification of this permit.
(3) A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site. Contact this office at (252)808-2808 for a final inspection at
completion of work.
(4) Pursuant to 15A NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406(b), this permit may not be assigned, transfened, sold or otherwise disposed
of to a third-party.

(5) All development activities are to remain landward of the first line of natural stable vegetation..
(6) All disturbed areas shall be stabilized with vegetation (planted and mulched) within 14 days of conslruction
completion.
(7) Prior to any development, silt fence shall be properly installed between all planned land disturbance and the
adjacent marsh and open water areas; the silt fence shall be properly maintained throughout the construction
period. Siltfence shall be installed suchthatit is properly toed-in to the soil.
(8) All unconsolidated matenal resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by effective
sedimentation and erosion control measures. Sedimentation and erosion control measures shall be properly
maintained throughout the construction period.
