The activity you proposed is exempt from needing a CAMA Minor Development Permit as long as it meets the conditions specified below: If your plans should change and your project will no longer meet those conditions, please contact me before proceeding. All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted workplat drawing(s) as originally submitted on 25-Jan-05 showing a Single Family Residence Deck/Steps. 2. All construction must conform to the North Carolina Building Code requirements and all other Local, State and Federal regulations. 3. Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-evaluation and modification of this permit. 4. The amount of impervious surface areas shall not exceed 30% of the lot area within the 75' Area of Environmental Concern (AEC). 5. In order to prevent sedimentation, a vegetated buffer zone must be maintained between all disturbed areas and the adjacent waterbody or marsh. The first floor must be in compliance with the Federal Flood Insurance Rate Map elevations. 8. A 40' buffer zone must be provided from the mean high water (normal water line). No land -disturbing activity may occur within that 40' buffer zone. 9. Pursuant to 15 NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406(b), this permit may not be assigned, transferred, sold or otherwise disposed of to a third party. This letter of exemption is valid for a period of 90 days only. A new application will need to be submitted if construction is not commenced within that time.
