Dear Mr. Alban:
This letter is in response to an email received September 6, 2022, from Brian Rubino, in which it was
requested that Major Permit # 68-22 be modified to incorporate an 8' return wall on the south side of the
permitted bulkhead adjacent to the permitted platform.
Major Permit # 86-22 was issued to you on July 20, 2022 for the purposes of reconfiguring and adding
height to the existing low profile riprap shoreline, constructing a new bulkhead, constructing a new riprap
off -shore sill, completely replacing an existing platform, and extending an existing pier landward.
The project site is addressed as 698 Grandy Road, Grandy, Currituck County, and is adjacent to North River
just south of Duck Creek.
Your modification request as described and/or depicted in your submittal dated September 6 2022 is hereby
authorized as a refinement to CAMA Major permit # 68-22. All existing conditions remain in effect,
including the expiration date of December 31, 2025. This letter is provided to you as a record of the
authorization and should be included with the Permit file.
You may need to obtain a building pennit from Currituck County

Hi Robert,
At North River Club, the contractor and owner would like to add a 8' wingwall on the south side of the permitted
bulkhead adjacent to the platform. This wingwall would add 8' total to the total bulkhead length (63' instead of
55'). Please see attached plan. Would you be able to issue a refinement to include this? Please see attached exhibit
that includes the wingwall.
