Thank you for talking to me yesterday. Here Is the i Feb 25 9 older messages Pollcarpo, John N SAW <John.N.Policarpo@usace.army. Mar 14 to Sean, Holley.Snider, me Morning Chris, Based on the Information you emailed me and after our site visit last week, the Corps has determined that the proposed walkway does not require a permit under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act so long as the structure is elevated a minimum of 3-feet above ground surface and the pilings are sufficiently spaced (6-8 feet typical) within wetlands. In addition, you do not need a permit under Section 10 of the Rivers & Harbors Act so long as the structure is built landward of the mean high water line. This determination does not obviate you from getting any other permits or approvals for the proposed construction. You are advised to contact the CAMA representative to determine if the project will require a permit. I have copied the County CAMA rep on this email for their notification.
