This letter is in response to an email received July 13, 2017 from Doug Dorman of Atlantic Environmental
Consultants, LLC in which it was requested that Major Permit #99-16 be modified to include a 6'x5' handicap
ramp that will connect the existing deck area on land to the approved walkway that runs parallel to the
bulkhead.
Major Permit #99-16 was issued to Allis Holdings, LLC, on October 19, 2016. This Permit authorized the
construction of a six -slip docking facility and parallel walkway waterward of an existing bulkhead.
The project is located at the Blue Point Restaurant within the Waterfront Shops located at 1240 Duck Road
(NC-12), Town of Duck, Dare County, adjacent to the Currituck Sound.
Your modification request as described and/or depicted in your submittal dated July 13, 2017, is hereby
authorized as a refinement to CAMA Major permit #99-16. All existing conditions remain in effect, including
the expiration date of December 31, 2019. This letter is provided to you as a record of the authorization, and
should be included with the Permit file.
You may need to obtain a building permit from the Town of Duck.
