HomeMy WebLinkAboutHB_15-044_KoubaTown of Holden Beach 2015.044 Local Government Permit Number CAMA MINOR DEVELOPMENT r PERMIT as authorized by the State of North Carolina, Department of Environment Quality and the Coastal Resources Commission for development in an area of environment concern pursuant to Section 113A-118 of the General Statutes, "Coastal Area Management" Issued to Marsha L. Kouba, authorizing development in the Estuarine Shoreline (AEC) at 105 Scotch Bonnett, in Holden Beach Brunswick County, as requested in the permittee's application, dated December 17, 2015. This permit, issued on December 312015, is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void. This permit authorizes: Install pool in the existing ground (no portion being permitted above ground) with wood decking to be placed on the existing ground, no more than 425 square feet of wood ground level decking. A fence is also permitted. All structures are being permitted on the platted property. (1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat survey with proposed drawn in (s) dated 11/24/15 and signed by Gary Guarganus. (2) All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other local, State and Federal regulations, applicable local ordinances and FEMA Flood Regulations. (3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-evaluation and modification of this permit. (4) A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site. Contact this office at 910-842-6080 for a final inspection at completion of work. (Additional Permit Conditions on Page 2) This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project modification not covered under this permit, require further written permit approval. All work must cease when this permit expires on: DECEMBER 31, 2018 In issuing this permit it is agreed that this protect is consistent with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances. (6) No development is being permitted within the 30 foot buffer. (7) All unconsolidated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by effective sedimentation and erosion control measures. Prior to any land -disturbing activities, a barrier line of fitter cloth must be installed between the land disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water areas until such time as the area has been properly stabilized with a vegetative cover. (8) Any proposed for grading within the 30' buffer from the normal high water must be contoured to prevent additional stormwater runoff to the adjacent marsh. This area shall be immediately vegetatively stabilized, and must remain in a vegetated state. (9) All other disturbed areas shall be vegetatively stabilized (planted and mulched) within 14 days of construction completion. (10) No stormwater plan has been submitted or approved to add additional height to the existing grade on the property. (11) The pool shall be placed in the ground and the decking shall be located on the existing ground. (12) No land disturbance has been proposed or approved. (13) No portion of the decking or the pool shall be attached to house at any point (14) The pool, decking, fence ect shall meet all local, state and federal rules and regulations.
