Issued to Figure Eight Island Yacht Club, Inc., authorizing development in tide Estuarine Shoreline - ORW (AEC) at 15
Bridge Road, Figure Eight Island, in Wilmington, NO, as requested in the permittee's application, dated January 5, 2015.
This permit, issued on January 20, 2015, is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where
consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions ant' notes set forth below. Any violation of
these terms may subject permitlee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.
This permit authorizes: Installation of paves for a Palo and planting of shrubs.
(1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance Oth the permitted work plat
drawings(s) dated received on January 5, 2015.
(2) All construction must conform to Via N.C. Building Code requliemenis end all other local, State and Federal regulations,
applicable local ordinances and FEMA Flood Regulations.
(3) Any cha+ ga or changes in the plans for development, construction, o:- land use activities .nil require a ra-evaluation and
modification of ttus permit.
(4) A copy of this permit shall be posted or availab!e on site. Contact this office at 798-7116 for a final inspection at
completion of work.

This permit action may be appealed by the permlhea or other qualified persons
within twenty (20) days of the issuing dale. This pwm t must be on the "ad
site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for
compliance. Any maintenance work or project modification not covered under
this permit, require further written permit approval. All work must cease when this
permit expires on:
DECEMBER 31, 2018
In issuing this permit B is agreed that this project is consistent with the local Land
Use Plan and all applicable ordinances. This permit may not be transferred to
another party without the written approval of the Division of Coastal
Management.

(5) The amount of impervious suriece shall not exceed 25% of the lot ara within 575 feet of Normal High Water
(Estuarine Shoreline - ORW Area of Environmental Concern) in this case 450 sq. ft. of new impervious is

(6) All unconsolidated material resultir:g from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by effective
sedimentation and erosion control measures. Prior to any land -disturbing activities, a barrier line of filter cloth must
be installod behveen the land disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or vrater areas, until such time as the area
has been propedy stabilized v:9th a vegetative carer.
(7) Any proposed for grading within the 30' buffer from the Normal thigh V'Jater must be contoured to prevent additional
stormwater runoff to the adjacent marsh. This area shall be immediately vagctativaly stabilized, and must remain In
a vegetated state.
(3) All other distu bed areas Shull be vegetaTrrely stabilized (planted and mulched) within 14 days of construction
completion.
