and Natural Resources and the Coastal Resources commission for development
In an area of environment concern pursuant to Section 113A-118 of the
General Statutes, "Coastal Area Management
Issued to Teresa Huffman, authorizing development in the Estuarine Shoreline - ORW (AEC) at7107 English Landing, in
Wilmington, NC, as requested in the permittee's application, dated March 24, 2011. This permit, Issued on April 11, 2011, is
subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and
special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil
action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.
This permit authorizes: Removal of 55o sq It concrete driveway, plastic pond, two pine trees, willow oak, two crepe myrtles,
Pampas grass & other non-native vegetation, wood steps & retaining wag, trick patio and e4sbrig lawn areas& other shrubs.
Remove old septic system and Install new septic system. Remove old irrigation system and replace with new system. install spa
and plunge pool with fence, gas fireplace, concrete retaining wall and wood deck, concrete pavers to create auto court & walkway.
Also build outdoor kitchen, wood stairs to lawn, firepit, outdoor shower, pergola over garage & entry doors, and paddleboard
storage structure. Site work to include grading, addition of topsoil, placement of sod, planting of trees & shrubs along with
installation of outdoor fighting and other associated landscaping.
(1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat
diawings(s) and description of project dated received on March 24, 2011.
(2) All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other focal, State and Federal regulations,
applicable local ordinances and FEMA Flood Regulations.
(3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-evaluation and
modification of this permit.

(4) A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site. Contact this office at 910-798-7116 for a final inspection at
completion of work.
(5) The amount of impervious surface shall not exceed 25% of the lot area within 575 feet of Normal High Water
(Estuarine Shoreline - ORW Area of Environmental Concern), in this case, 3,075 square feet of new impervious is
authorized for a total of 9,369 square feet impervious.
(6) Unless specifically allowed in 15A NCAC 07H. 0209(d)(10), and shown on the permitted plan drawing, all
development/construction shall be located a distance of 30 feet landward of Normal High Water. No portion of the
roof overhang shall encroach into the 3011. buffer.
(7) All unconsolidated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by effective
sedimentation and erosion control measures. Prior to any land -disturbing activities, a bamer line of filter cloth must
be installed between the land disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water areas, until such time as the area
has been proPerty stabilized with a vegetative cover.
(8) Any proposed for grading within the 30' buffer from the Normal High Water must be contoured to prevent additional
stormwater runoff to the adjacent marsh. This area shall be immediately vegetatively stabilized, and must remain in
a vegetated state.
(9) All other disturbed areas shall be vegetatively stabilized (planted and mulched) within 14 days of construction
completion.

and future maintenance require additional approval. Please read your permit carefully prior to
