HomeMy WebLinkAboutOI_09-30_AgeeOak Island Local Government 01.09.30 Permit Number CAMA MINOR DEVELOPMENT PERMIT as authorized by the State of North Carolina, Department of Environment, and Natural Resources and the Coastal Resources Commission for development In an area of environment concem pursuant to Section 113A i i a of tho General Statutes, "Coastal Area Management' Issued to Jeffery Agee, authorizing development in the Estuarine Shoreline (AEC) at 2920 E. Pelican Dr., in Oak Island, as requested in the pernittee's application, dated 11/09/2009. This permit, issued on 11/23/2009, is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void. This permit authorizes: open deck addition 16 X 24. (1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat drawings(s) dated received on t1/0912009. (2) All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other local, State and Federal regulations, applicable local ordinances and FEMA Flood Regulations. (3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a reevaluation and modification of this permit. (4) A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site. Contact this office at (910) 278-5024 for a final inspection at completion of work. From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this permit must cease until the appeal is resolved. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is Inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project modification not covered under this permit, require further written permit approval. All work must cease when this permit expires on: February 7, 2014 In issuing this permit it Is agreed that this project is consistent with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances. (6) Unless specifically allowed in 15A NCAC 07H. 0209(d)(10), and shown on the permitted plan drawing, all development/construction shall be located a distance of 30 feet landward of the normal high water. No portion of the roof overhang shall encroach into the 30 ft. buffer. (7) All unconsolidated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by effective sedimentation and erosion control measures. Prior to any land -disturbing activities, a barrier line of filter cloth must be installed between the land disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water areas, until such time as the area has been properly stabilized with a vegetative cover. (8) Any proposed for grading within the 30' buffer from the normal high water must be contoured to prevent additional stornwater runoff to the adjacent marsh. This area shall be immediately vegetatively stabilized, and must remain in a vegetated state. (9) All other disturbed areas shall be vegetatively stabilized (planted and mulched) within 14 days of construction completion. I have a 16 month old grandson. Love him to death, there is nothing better than grandchildren! I have attached the two items referenced below in your recent e-mail. 1 verified the bulkhead measurement Once were trying to work with the owner and his existing survey. The bulkhead was replaced a couple of years ago and the new bulkhead was placed waterward of the existing bulkhead, so approximately 3' was added to the buffer area. S0000 only 7 x 24 feet or (168 sq feet) of the open deck is in the 30 foot buffer, as allowed. If I need to send more clarification just let me know. I tried to mark what was needed on the survey. Also sent the missing info for 0I-09-29I will send by mail the application and other information for 0I-09-26. 1 have attached the drawing for EX 09-39. If you need anything else let me know. 1 am working on Quarterly's, hope to have them to you soon. Donna Donna F.
